1.Who we are

Gudauri 2000 is an adventure tourism operator registered in Georgia and based in Gudauri, Kazbegi Municipality. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Gudauri 2000, and "you" refers to the person making the booking and any guests included in it.

2.Booking and payment

A booking made through this website is a request to reserve a place. It becomes confirmed when we send you a confirmation message with a booking reference.

Unless we tell you otherwise, no payment is taken at the point of booking. Payment is due on the day of your activity, in cash or by card at the meeting point, in Georgian lari.

We may ask for a card guarantee or deposit for group bookings of six or more people and for the three hour Summit snowmobile tour. If we do, we will tell you before you confirm.

Prices shown on this website are per person unless stated otherwise. Snowmobile tour prices are per machine.

3.Your responsibilities

You must give accurate information when booking, including weight where a weight limit applies, and you must tell us about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or recent surgery that could affect your participation.

You must arrive at the stated meeting point at the stated time, and you must follow the instructions of your guide, pilot or instructor at all times.

You must not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We will refuse participation in that case and no refund will be given.

• Every guest must sign a waiver before the activity begins.
• Guests under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf.
• Weight, age and health requirements listed on each activity page are certification and safety limits and cannot be waived.

4.Our responsibilities

We will provide the activity described in your booking using appropriately licensed staff and equipment that meets the certification standards described on the relevant activity page.

We carry third-party liability insurance covering our operations. This is included in the price of every activity.

We reserve the right to modify a route, shorten an activity or substitute equipment or staff where safety, weather or operational conditions require it. Where a material change reduces what you receive, we will offer a partial refund or a reschedule.

5.Weather and cancellation by us

Mountain weather decides whether we operate. We make a go or no-go call on the morning of your activity against fixed limits for wind, visibility and avalanche risk, and we notify you as early as we can on the contact details in your booking.

If we cancel, you choose between a full refund and a free reschedule to any other available date. We do not charge a fee in either case.

We are not responsible for costs you incur separately as a result of a weather cancellation, such as travel or accommodation. Travel insurance is the appropriate cover for that.

6.Cancellation by you

You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are covered by our cancellation policy.

7.Risk

Skiing, snowboarding, paragliding and snowmobiling are activities that carry inherent risk of injury or death, including risks that cannot be eliminated by equipment, training or supervision. Off-piste skiing and snowboarding additionally carries avalanche risk in uncontrolled terrain.

By booking, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and accept them. This does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Georgian law.

8.Insurance

Third-party liability insurance is included. Personal accident, medical and repatriation cover is not.

Many standard travel insurance policies exclude what they describe as extreme or adventure sports. We strongly recommend that you check your policy wording covers the specific activity you have booked before you travel.

9.Photography

We may take photographs and video during activities and use them in our marketing, including on this website and on social media. Tell your guide before the activity if you would prefer not to appear, and we will exclude you.

10.Complaints and governing law

If something goes wrong, tell your guide at the time if you can, and contact us at gudaurii2000@gmail.com in any case. We aim to respond to any complaint within five working days.

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and the courts of Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
